MEDITATION & GLOBAL TRANSFORMATION : Chapter-5
PART THREE: SPONTANEOUS MEDITATION AS A PLAUSIBLE BASIS FOR GLOBAL TRANSFORMATION
5. SPECIFIC ADVANTAGES OF CEL PROMOTED SPONTANEOUS MEDITATION
a) The notion of meditation is dynamic: in its potential stage it is a praxis; in its actualized stage it is a state of deep integrated consciousness (union or yoga). CEL coaching aims at ensuring the transfer from potential to actualization.
b) The experience is felt on the central nervous system, beyond normal brain activity, revealed by the awakening of a dormant spiritual energy, which rises within the spine to cross the limbic area, above the two brain hemispheres (Self Realization). In a nutshell, spontaneous meditation exposes and manages the relationship between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.
c) The transfer amounts to the qualitative change in consciousness that is registered as the silent awareness of the deeper Self. The psychosomatic underpinnings of this transfer are revealed through meditation coaching.
d) Hence CEL meditation coaches must be qualified as they relate to these energy fields in order to be able to take the trainee through the experience.
e) In a simple and direct manner, the practitioners of spontaneous meditation recognize through physical perceptions and states of higher wellbeing their vaster cognitive potential, they discover their autonomous mastery tool box and establish their own connectivity with restorative energies.
f) The process is scientific in that it can be experimented, monitored and replicated. Its impact does not depend on educational levels or mental capacities. The impact of the initiation into spontaneous mediation unfolds in a tangible manner through improved health, enhanced cognitive capacities, emotional balance, greater calmness and deeper insights.
g) From a corporate and business improvement perspective, the practice of spontaneous meditation leads to better discernment and decision making, improved focus, creativity and productivity, decreased stress and absenteeism, and a greater capacity to form positive relationships and interactions with the rest of the organization. Furthermore, the transformation of the individual leads to the transformation of the organization as a whole and ultimately influences the corporation’s positive impact on society and the environment (Corporate Social Responsibility).
