Deities are Gates of Ubiquity
|
In several Sahasrar Namah (praises of the deities in Sanskrit),
a specific quality seems assigned to a given deity, although these
distinctions seem to be blurred when the same specific name or
aspect is in fact assigned to several different deities. Yet,
this is the case because each deity is simply connected to and
integrated with the Whole. Each of the deity permeate the immanence
of Divinity, providing a specific gate to acces the Totality,
verily expressing it. They are both distinct and One, something
the human mind cannot quite grasp. Thus deities are worshipped
by the seers as gates of ubiquity, each giving access to the landscapes
of the inner heavens. This is why Shirdhi Sai Nath could speak
with such confidence about Himself.
